     Henry Willoughby Legard was born in 1805.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Legard, 7th Bt. and Sarah Bishop.2 He married Charlotte Henrietta Willoughby, daughter of Henry Willoughby and Charlotte Eyre, on 26 October 1839.1 He died on 21 November 1845.1
     He gained the rank of Officer in the service of the 9th Lancers.1

Sir Algernon Willoughby Legard, 12th Bt.1

     Sir Algernon Willoughby Legard, 12th Bt. was born on 14 October 1842.1 He was the son of Henry Willoughby Legard and Charlotte Henrietta Willoughby.2 He married Alicia Egerton Brooks, daughter of Reverend George William Brooks, on 27 July 1872.1 He died on 6 September 1923 at age 80, without issue.1
     He succeeded to the title of 12th Baronet Legard, of Ganton, co. York [E., 1660] on 6 December 1901.1

     Reverend Cecil Henry Legard was born on 28 November 1843.1 He was the son of Henry Willoughby Legard and Charlotte Henrietta Willoughby.2 He married Emily Mary Hall, daughter of James Hall, on 29 April 1873.1 He died on 20 February 1918 at age 74.1
     He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He graduated with a Master of Law (LL.M.).1 He was Rector between 1887 and 1914 at Cottesbrooke, Northamptonshire, England.1
