     Stephen Eardley-Wilmot was born on 11 August 1887.1 He was the son of Sir William Assheton Eardley-Wilmot, 3rd Bt. and Mary Russell.2 He married Marguerite May Prettie, daughter of Edgar C Prettie, on 10 July 1923.1 He died on 23 March 1950 at age 62, without issue.1
