General Sir Charles Henry Pepys Harington was born on 5 May 1910.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Herbert Hastings Harington and Dorothy Caroline Pepys.2 He married Victoire Marion Williams-Freeman, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Peere Williams-Freeman, on 21 March 1942.1 He died on 13 February 2007 at age 96.3
