     John Henry Reginald Scott, 4th Earl of Clonmell was born on 2 March 1839 at Birt House, Naas, County Kildare, Ireland.1,2 He was the son of John Henry Scott, 3rd Earl of Clonmell and Hon. Anne de Burgh.1 He died on 22 June 1891 at age 52 at 3 St. James's Place, St. James's, London, England, unmarried.1,2
     John Henry Reginald Scott, 4th Earl of Clonmell was educated between 1850 and 1854 at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2,3 He gained the rank of officer between 1857 and 1867 in the service of the 1st Life Guards.2 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Earlsfort of Lisson-Earl, co. Tipperary [I., 1784] on 7 February 1866.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Earl of Clonmell, co. Tipperary [I., 1793] on 7 February 1866.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Viscount Clonmell [I., 1789] on 7 February 1866.1 He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland] between 10 November 1874 and 1891.2

     Lt.-Col. Thomas Charles Scott, 5th Earl of Clonmell was born on 18 August 1840 at Birt House, Naas, County Kildare, Ireland.1,2 He was the son of John Henry Scott, 3rd Earl of Clonmell and Hon. Anne de Burgh.1 He married Agnes Arabella Day, daughter of Robert Godfrey Day and Anne Thompson, on 31 March 1875 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 He died on 18 June 1896 at age 55 at Bishop's Court, County Kildare, Ireland, from typhoid fever, without issue.1,3
     Lt.-Col. Thomas Charles Scott, 5th Earl of Clonmell fought in the Ashanti War in 1874.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1874 in the service of the Rifle Brigade.2 He retired from the military in 1881, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, late of the Rifle Brigade.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Earl of Clonmell, co. Tipperary [I., 1793] on 22 June 1891.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Viscount Clonmell [I., 1789] on 22 June 1891.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Earlsfort of Lisson-Earl, co. Tipperary [I., 1784] on 22 June 1891.1

Thomas Charles Scott, 5th Earl of Clonmell, son of John Henry Scott, 3rd Earl of Clonmell and Hon. Anne de Burgh, on 31 March 1875 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.2,1 She died on 10 February 1884 at 109 Ebury Street, Pimlico, London, England.3
