     Harry Maule Crookshank was born on 13 January 1849.1 He was the son of Captain Blackman Chichester Graham Crookshank and Helen Elizabeth Bilton.1 He married Emma Comfort, daughter of Major Samuel Comfort, on 5 August 1891.1 He died on 25 March 1914 at age 65.1
     Harry Maule Crookshank was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was educated at University College Hospital, Great Ormond Street, London, England.1 He was with the Egyptian Administration after 1883.1 He was decorated with the Commander, Order of Osmanieh of Egypt.1 He was decorated with the Grand Cordon, Order of the Mejidie.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (F.R.C.S.E.).1

     Emma Comfort is the daughter of Major Samuel Comfort.1 She married Harry Maule Crookshank, son of Captain Blackman Chichester Graham Crookshank and Helen Elizabeth Bilton, on 5 August 1891.1
     From 5 August 1891, her married name became Crookshank.1

     John Brown was born on 11 October 1876 at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Thomas Brown and Catherine Ronaldson Robertson.1 He married Janet Clark Laidlaw, daughter of Robert Clark Laidlaw and Agnes Lawther, on 3 January 1901 at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 He died on 3 June 1937 at age 60 at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.1
     John Brown and Janet Clark Laidlaw emigrated along with their children to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, arriving on 1909 on board the Osterley.1
