     Sasha Moorsom was born on 25 January 1931.2 She was the daughter of Raisley Stewart Moorsom.1 She married Dr. Michael Young, Baron Young of Dartington, son of Gibson Young and Edith Hermia Dunlop, in 1960.1 She died on 21 June 1993 at age 62.1,2
     She was educated at Bedales School, Petersfield, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 She was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 From 1960, her married name became Young.1 She wrote the book A Lavender Trip, published 1976.2 After her marriage, Sasha Moorsom was styled as Baroness Young of Dartington on 20 March 1978. She wrote the book In the Shadow of hte Paradise Tree, published 1983.2

     Major Mark Sprot was born in 1881.2 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. John Sprot and Cecilia Elizabeth Doveton.2 He married Meliora Hay, daughter of Sir John Adam Hay, 9th Bt. and Anne Salisbury Mary Meliora Milliken-Napier, on 26 January 1909.1 He died on 31 December 1946.3
     He lived at Riddell, Melrose, Roxburghshire, ScotlandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots Guards.1

     Cecilia Doriel Sprot is the daughter of Major Mark Sprot and Meliora Hay.2,1 She married William Stephen Ian Whitelaw, 1st and last Viscount Whitelaw, son of William Alexander Whitelaw and Helen Winifred Cumine Russell, in 1943.1
     From 1943, her married name became Whitelaw. After her marriage, Cecilia Doriel Sprot was styled as Viscountess Whitelaw on 16 June 1983.1
