     Edward Henry Swinburne Bligh was born on 16 April 1884.1 He was the son of Reverend Hon. Henry Bligh and Anne Elizabeth Dobrée Butler.1 He died on 10 September 1915 at age 31, killed in action.1
     Edward Henry Swinburne Bligh was a practising barrister.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Drake Division, Royal Naval Division.1
