     Mary Cunliffe was the daughter of Brooke Cunliffe.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Frederic Conyers Cotton, son of Henry Calveley Cotton and Matilda Lockwood, on 9 April 1849.1 She died in 1896.1
     From 9 April 1849, her married name became Cotton.
