Sir Robert Poyntz was baptised on 26 October 1588.3 He was the son of Sir John Poyntz and Elizabeth Sydenham.2 He married, secondly, Cecilia Smith.1 He married, firstly, Frances Gibbons, daughter of Gervase Gibbons, on 13 June 1604.1 He died before July 1666.3 His will was probated on 12 July 1666.3
