     Elizabeth Harriet Rickford was the daughter of William Rickford and Mary Vanderhelm.1,2 She married Sir Astley Paston Cooper, 2nd Bt., son of Reverend Samuel Lovick Cooper and Sarah Leman Rede, on 29 November 1821.1 She died on 6 September 1878.1
     From 29 November 1821, her married name became Cooper.

     Sir Astley Paston Paston-Cooper, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 February 1824.1 He was the son of Sir Astley Paston Cooper, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Harriet Rickford.2 He married, firstly, Etheldreda Julia Newton, daughter of George Newton, on 7 November 1855.1 He married, secondly, Sophia Jane Holford, daughter of John Holford and Ann Shaw, on 12 August 1890 at Westminster, London, England.2,3 He died on 19 October 1904 at age 80 at Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England.2,3
     He was given the name of Astley Paston Cooper at birth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1848 in the Rifle Brigade.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Cooper, of Gadebridge, co. Herts [U.K., 1821] on 6 January 1866.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hertfordshire.1 In 1884 his name was legally changed to Astley Paston Paston-Cooper by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1885.1 He lived between 1891 and 1904 at 92 Eaton Square, St. George Hanover Square, London, England.3 He held the office of Mayor of Hemel Hempstead between 1898 and 1899.1

     Etheldreda Julia Newton was the daughter of George Newton.2 She married Sir Astley Paston Paston-Cooper, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Astley Paston Cooper, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Harriet Rickford, on 7 November 1855.1 She died on 17 July 1888.1
     From 7 November 1855, her married name became Cooper. In 1884 her name was legally changed to Paston-Cooper.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment.1

     Edmund Courtenay Astley Paston Cooper was born on 10 August 1863.1 He was the son of Sir Astley Paston Paston-Cooper, 3rd Bt. and Etheldreda Julia Newton.2 He married Constance Mary Gorst, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Eldon Gorst and Mary Elizabeth Moore, on 29 December 1887.1 He died on 1 April 1892 at age 28, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1

     Sir Charles Naunton Paston Paston-Cooper, 4th Bt. was born on 27 September 1867.1 He was the son of Sir Astley Paston Paston-Cooper, 3rd Bt. and Etheldreda Julia Newton.2 He married Tatiana Dolgorukya, daughter of Prince Dmitri Alekseyevich Dolgoruky, on 25 January 1899.1 He died on 4 December 1941 at age 74, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Cooper, of Gadebridge, co. Herts [U.K., 1821] on 19 October 1904.1
