     Lady Margaret Stuart was the daughter of James Stuart, 1st Earl of Moray and Lady Agnes Keith.1 A contract for the marriage of Lady Margaret Stuart and Francis Hay, 9th Earl of Erroll was signed on 27 June 1584.1 She died in 1586, without issue.1
     Her married name became Hay. As a result of her marriage, Lady Margaret Stuart was styled as Countess of Erroll on 8 October 1585.
