     Alexander Livingstone, 1st Earl of Linlithgow was the son of William Livingston, 6th Lord Livingston and Agnes Fleming.1 He married Lady Helen Hay, daughter of Andrew Hay, 8th Earl of Erroll and Lady Jean Hay, on 26 January 1583/84.2 He died on 24 December 1621.
     He gained the title of 1st Earl of Linlithgow.

     Lady Jane Campbell was the daughter of Archibald Campbell, 7th Earl of Argyll and Anne Cornwallis.1 She married, firstly, John Gordon, 1st Viscount of Kenmure, son of Sir Robert Gordon of Lochinvar and Lady Isabel Ruthven, circa 1626.1 She married, secondly, Sir Henry Montgomerie, son of Alexander Montgomerie, 6th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Anne Livingstone, on 21 September 1640.1
     From circa 1626, her married name became Gordon.1 From 21 September 1640, her married name became Montgomerie.1

Sir Henry Montgomerie1

     Sir Henry Montgomerie was born on 26 June 1614.1 He was the son of Alexander Montgomerie, 6th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Anne Livingstone.1 He married Lady Jane Campbell, daughter of Archibald Campbell, 7th Earl of Argyll and Anne Cornwallis, on 21 September 1640.1 He died on 3 May 1643 at age 28, without issue.1
     He lived at Giffen, ScotlandG.1

     Colonel James Montgomerie was the son of Alexander Montgomerie, 6th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Anne Livingstone.1,2 He married Margaret Macdonald, daughter of John Macdonald in Kintyre and Elizabeth Stewart, in June 1659.1 He died on 18 October 1675.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel.1 He lived at Coylsfield, ScotlandG.1

     Maj.-Gen. Robert Montgomerie was the son of Alexander Montgomerie, 6th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Anne Livingstone.1 A contract for the marriage of Maj.-Gen. Robert Montgomerie and Hon. Elizabeth Livingstone was signed on 4 September 1662.1 He died in 1684.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Horse.1 He fought in the Battle of Worcester in 1651.1 He held the office of Gentleman of the Bedchamber after 1660.1

     Hon. Elizabeth Livingstone was the daughter of James Livingstone, 1st Viscount Kilsyth and Euphemia Cuningham.1 She married by contract, firstly, Maj.-Gen. Robert Montgomerie, son of Alexander Montgomerie, 6th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Anne Livingstone, on 4 September 1662.1 She married, secondly, Captain George Douglas, son of Hon. Sir William Douglas and Agnes Fawside, after 1684.1
     From 4 September 1662, her married name became Montgomerie.1 From after 1684, her married name became Douglas.1

James Livingstone, 1st Viscount Kilsyth

     James Livingstone, 1st Viscount Kilsyth was born on 25 June 1616. He was the son of Sir William Livingston of Kilsyth and Margaret Houstoun.1 A contract for the marriage of James Livingstone, 1st Viscount Kilsyth and Euphemia Cuningham was signed on 10 December 1639.2 He died on 7 September 1661 at age 45.
     He gained the title of 1st Viscount Kilsyth.

     Lady Anne Montgomerie was born circa 1632.2 She was the daughter of Hugh Montgomerie, 7th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Anne Hamilton.3 She married, firstly, Robert Seton before 1655.1 She married, secondly, James Ogilvy, 3rd Earl of Findlater, son of Patrick Ogilvy, 2nd Earl of Findlater and Lady Elizabeth Ogilvy, circa 1658.1 She died in August 1687.4
     From before 1655, her married name became Seton.1 Her married name became Ogilvy.
