     Margaret Menzies was the daughter of Gilbert Menzies of Pitfoddels.1 She married, secondly, Patrick Oliphant, 1st/6th Lord Oliphant, son of John Oliphant, Master of Oliphant and Lilias Gray.1 She married, firstly, James Gordon of Lesmoir, younger, son of James Gordon and Helen Urquhart.1 She died before December 1643.2
     Her married name became Gordon.1 Her married name became Oliphant.1

     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyll in 1960.1

     Major John Campbell Heriot-Maitland was born on 21 January 1874.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir James Makgill Heriot-Maitland and Frances Lorne Mary Campbell.2 He died on 28 October 1934 at age 60.1
     He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Captain and Brevet Major in the Scots Guards.1

     Jessie Stewart Hutchings was the daughter of Captain George Hutchings.1 She married, firstly, Maj.-Gen. Sir James Makgill Heriot-Maitland, son of James Maitland-Heriot and Margaret Dalgleish, on 4 October 1882.1 She married, secondly, Prince unknown of Formosa on 14 December 1903.1 She died in 1905.1
     From 4 October 1882, her married name became Heriot-Maitland. From 14 December 1903, her married name became Formosa.1

George King and Charlotte Tredcroft, on 20 November 1850.1 She died on 15 April 1853 at age 24.1

     Captain Henry King was born on 30 June 1819.2 He was the son of Hon. George King and Charlotte Tredcroft.2 He married, firstly, Isabella Louisa Maitland-Heriot, daughter of James Maitland-Heriot and Margaret Dalgleish, on 20 November 1850.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Palmer, daughter of Reverend George Palmer, on 11 September 1856.2 He died in 1891.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He lived at Chithurst, Midhurst, Sussex, EnglandG.2

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 27th Foot.3 He lived at Fryern, Sussex, EnglandG.3

Frederick Lewis Maitland of Rankeillour and Margaret Dick.3 He was baptised on 11 September 1777 at Collessie, Fife, ScotlandG.2 He married Catherine Conner, daughter of Daniel Conner, in April 1804.1 He died on 30 December 1839 at age 62, without issue.1
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He lived at Lindores House, Fife, ScotlandG.1
