George Wray1

     George Wray was the son of Reverend Guy Atkinson and Jane Wray.1 He married Leonora Wray, daughter of Jackson Wray, in 1797, they had other issue in addition to those listed below.1
     He was given the name of George Atkinson at birth.1 In 1809 his name was legally changed to George Wray when he assumed surname and arms of Wray by Royal Licence.1

     Reverend Henry Basil Brooke Wray was born in 1809.1 He was the son of George Wray and Leonora Wray.1 He married Emily Smith.1 He died in 1882 at London, Ontario, CanadaG.1
     He was disinherited while a student because he married his younger sister's governess.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1833 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He emigrated to AustraliaG, became a sheep-farmer, but put out of business by bush-rangers.1 He was subsequently ordained in England.1 He was a Curate at England, Ireland and Vermont U.S.A..1
