Mary Josephine Balfe was the daughter of James Balfe and Mary Anne Martyn.1 She married Colonel Charles Raleigh Chichester, son of Colonel Sir Charles Chichester, on 24 June 1852, leaving issue.1 She died on 29 April 1871.1
