     Sir John Raymond Cuthbert Quilter, 3rd Bt. was born on 25 February 1902. He was the son of Sir William Eley Cuthbert Quilter, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Gwynnedd Douglas-Pennant. He married Margery Marianne Cooke, daughter of Sir James Douglas Cooke, on 3 July 1935. He died on 7 February 1959 at age 56.
     Sir John Raymond Cuthbert Quilter, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Raymond. He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Quilter.

     Margery Marianne Cooke is the daughter of Sir James Douglas Cooke. She married Sir John Raymond Cuthbert Quilter, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Eley Cuthbert Quilter, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Gwynnedd Douglas-Pennant, on 3 July 1935.
     Her married name became Quilter.
