     Sir Francis Fane was the son of Francis Fane, 1st Earl of Westmorland and Mary Mildmay.¹ He married Elizabeth West, daughter of William West.¹ He died circa 1681. His will was probated in September 1681.
     He held the office of Governor of Doncaster Castle.¹ He lived at Aston, Yorkshire, England.¹ He held the office of Governor of Lincoln Castle.¹ He was a dramatist and poet.¹ He lived at Fulbeck, Lincolnshire, England.¹ He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.).¹

     Elizabeth West was the daughter of William West.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Francis Fane, son of Francis Fane, 1st Earl of Westmorland and Mary Mildmay.¹ She married, firstly, John Darcy, 4th Lord Darcy, son of Michael Darcy and Margaret Wentworth.¹ She died circa July 1669.¹ She was buried on 24 July 1669.²
      Her married name became Darcy.¹ Her married name became Fane.¹

     William West lived at Firbeck, Yorkshire, England.¹

     John Darcy, 4th Lord Darcy was born circa 1579.¹ He was the son of Michael Darcy and Margaret Wentworth.¹ He married, fourthly, Elizabeth West, daughter of William West.² He married, firstly, Rosamund Frescheville, daughter of Peter Frescheville.¹ He married, secondly, Isabel Wray, daughter of Sir Christopher Wray, on 7 May 1617.¹ He married, thirdly, Mary Belasyse, daughter of Thomas Belasyse, 1st Viscount Fauconberg of Henknowle, on 7 November 1624.¹ He died on 5 July 1635, without surviving issue.¹
     He succeeded to the title of 4th Lord Darcy [E., 1504] on 18 October 1602.¹

     Henry Fane was born in 1669.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Fane and Hannah Rushworth.¹ He married Anne Scrope, daughter of Thomas Scrope.¹ He died on 19 December 1726.¹
     He lived at Brympton, Yeovil, Somerset, England.¹

     Anne Scrope was the daughter of Thomas Scrope.¹ She married Henry Fane, son of Sir Francis Fane and Hannah Rushworth.¹ She died in 1720.¹
      Her married name became Fane.¹

     Thomas Scrope lived at Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.¹
