     Lucia Katharine Young was the daughter of Sir William Mackworth Young.1 She married Arthur John Beamish, son of Lt.-Col. Alten Augustus William Beamish and May Ross Gillepsie, on 26 July 1924.1 She died on 1 September 1969.1
     Lucia Katharine Young was invested as a Associate, Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.).1 From 26 July 1924, her married name became Beamish.1
