Sir John Robert Gladstone, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 April 1852.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Gladstone, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Fellowes.2 He died on 25 June 1926 at age 74, unmarried.1
Sir John Robert Gladstone, 3rd Bt. held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Kincardineshire.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 1st Battalion, Coldstream Guards.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kincardineshire.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Gladstone, of Fasque and Balfour, co. Kincardine [U.K., 1846] on 20 March 1889.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the service of the Royal Company of Archers.1
