Sir William Wallace Hozier, 1st Baron Newlands was born on 24 February 1825.2 He was the son of James Hozier and Catherine Margaret Feilden.1,2 He married Frances Anne O'Hara, daughter of John O'Hara and Arabella Blake, in August 1849.3,2 He died on 30 January 1906 at age 80.2
