     James Hozier was born on 14 November 1791.¹ He was the son of William Hozier and Jean Campbell.¹ He married Catherine Margaret Feilden, daughter of Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt., on 11 May 1824.¹ He died on 12 January 1878 at age 86.¹
     James Hozier lived at Mauldslie Castle, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ He lived at Newlands, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹

     Karoline Christine von Sachsen-Eisenach was born on 15 April 1699. She was the daughter of Johann Wilhelm Herzog von Sachsen-Eisenach and Christine Juliane von Baden-Durlach. She married Karl Ludwig Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal, son of Philip Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal and Catherine Amalia zu Solms-Laubach, on 25 November 1725. She died on 25 July 1743 at age 44 at Philippsthal, Germany.

     Sir William Wallace Hozier, 1st Baron Newlands was born on 24 February 1825.² He was the son of James Hozier and Catherine Margaret Feilden.^1,2 He married Frances Anne O'Hara, daughter of John O'Hara and Arabella Blake, in August 1849.^3,2 He died on 30 January 1906 at age 80.²
     Sir William Wallace Hozier, 1st Baron Newlands gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Scots Greys.² He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Lanarkshire Regiment.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 4th Battalion, Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the auxiliary forces.² He was created 1st Baronet Hozier [U.K.] on 12 June 1890.² He was created 1st Baron Newlands, of Newlands, and Barrowfield, in the county of the city of Glasgow, and of Mauldslie Castle, co. Lanark [U.K.] on 19 January 1898.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Glasgow.² He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Glasgow.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyllshire.²

     Catherine Amalia zu Solms-Laubach was born on 26 December 1654. She was the daughter of Karl Otto Graf zu Solms-Laubach. She married Philip Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal, son of Wilhelm VI Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel, on 16 April 1680. She died on 26 April 1736 at age 81.

     Charlotte Wilhelmine von Sachsen-Eisenach was born on 27 June 1703 at Eisenach, Germany. She was the daughter of Johann Wilhelm Herzog von Sachsen-Eisenach and Christine Juliane von Baden-Durlach. She died on 17 August 1774 at age 71.

     Marie Christiane Felicitas zu Leiningen-Heidesheim was born on 30 December 1692. She was the daughter of Johann Karl August Graf zu Leiningen-Heidesheim and Joanna Magdalen von Hanau-Lichtenberg. She married Johann Wilhelm Herzog von Sachsen-Eisenach, son of Johann Georg I Herzog von Sachsen-Eisenach and Joanetta von Sayn-Wittgenstein, on 29 May 1727 at Philippsburg, Germany. She died on 3 June 1734 at age 41 at Eisenach, Germany.

     Karl Gustav Markgraf von Baden-Durlach was born on 27 September 1648. He married Anne Sophie von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, daughter of Anton Ulric Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel and Elisabeth Juliana von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg in Norburg, on 28 October 1677. He died on 24 October 1703 at age 55.
     Karl Gustav Markgraf von Baden-Durlach gained the title of Markgraf von Baden-Durlach.

     Hon. John Douglas Stuart was born on 11 June 1925. He married Lady Caroline Child-Villiers, daughter of George Francis Child-Villiers, 9th Earl of Jersey and Patricia Kenneth Richards, on 23 September 1969.²

     Karoline Prinzessin zu Stolberg-Gedern was born on 27 June 1732 at Gedern, Germany.¹ She was the daughter of Friedrich Karl Fürst zu Stolberg-Gedern and Luise Henriette von Nassau-Saarbrücken.¹ She married Christian Albrecht Ludwig II Fürst zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, son of Ludwig Fürst zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Eleanore Gräfin von Nassau-Saarbrücken, on 13 April 1761 at Gedern, Germany.¹ She died on 28 May 1796 at age 63 at Langenburg, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.¹
     Karoline Prinzessin zu Stolberg-Gedern held the office of Canon of Quedlinburg.¹
