Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 9th Bt. was born on 10 December 1799.1 He was the son of Thomas Dyer and Maria Letalia Grant.2 He married Mary Anne Clement, daughter of Colonel John Albeck Clement, on 7 February 1832.1 He died on 2 October 1878 at age 78.1
Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 9th Bt. gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Baronet Dyer, of Tottenham, co. Middlesex [E., 1683] on 27 March 1854.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.1 He lived at Westcroft Park, Chobham, Surrey, England.1 He lived at Brompton Hall, Middlesex, England.1 He also had three daughters.1

Sir John Swinnerton Dyer, 12th Bt. was born on 27 May 1891.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 11th Bt. and Dona Edith McGrigor.2 He married Maude Turner, daughter of W. H. Turner, on 21 December 1912.1 He died on 31 July 1917 at age 26, killed in action.1
Sir John Swinnerton Dyer, 12th Bt. succeeded to the title of 12th Baronet Dyer, of Tottenham, co. Middlesex [E., 1683] on 23 August 1907.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1916 in the service of the Scots Guards.1 He gained the rank of Deputy Adjutant Quartermaster-General in 1917 in the service of the Guards Division.1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1
