Dona Edith McGrigor was the daughter of Sir Charles Roderick M'Grigor, 2nd Bt. and Mary Grant. She married Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 11th Bt., son of Sir Swinnerton Halliday Dyer, 10th Bt., on 21 January 1886. She died on 3 February 1909.
From 21 January 1886, her married name became Dyer.
