     Rt. Hon. Edward Ellice was born on 27 September 1783 at London, England.² He was the son of Alexander Ellice and Ann Russell.² He married, firstly, Lady Hannah Althea Grey, daughter of General Charles Grey, 1st Earl Grey and Elizabeth Grey, on 30 October 1809.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Anne Amelia Keppel, daughter of William Charles Keppel, 4th Earl of Albemarle and Hon. Elizabeth Southwell, on 25 October 1843 at St. George's Hanover Square, London, England.^3,4 He died on 17 September 1863 at age 79.²
     He lived at Invergarry, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)³ Rt. Hon. Edward Ellice also went by the nick-name of Bear.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹ He was director of the Hudson's Bay Company.²

     Annick Kerbiriou is the daughter of Henri Kerbiriou.² She married, secondly, Robin Douglas Grey, son of Francis Temple Grey and Eglantine Ellice, in 1993.¹
