Leon Maurice Drummond was born on 12 April 1761. He was the son of James Drummond, 3rd Earl of Melfort and Marie de Berenger. He married Marie Elizabeth Lucie de Longemarre on 26 October 1794. He died on 26 April 1826 at age 65.

William Drummond, 4th Viscount Strathallan was the son of Sir John Drummond and Margaret Stewart. He married Hon. Margaret Nairne Murray, daughter of William Murray, 2nd Baron Nairne and Margaret Nairne. He died circa April 1746, killed in action.
