     Robert Farquharson of Finzean was the son of Donald Farquharson, 1st of Monaltrie and Janet Ogilvy.2 He married Margaret (?).1 He died in 1632.1
     He held the office of Burgess of Aberdeen in 1606.1 On 11 May 1609 he acquired Finzean by charter from Alexander Gordon of Cluny.1
