Granville Richard Chetwynd-Stapylton was born on 30 August 1909.1 He was the son of Major Granville Joseph Chetwynd-Stapylton and Elizabeth Grace Lethbridge.2 He married Emma Young, daughter of Colonel William Arthur Young, on 8 September 1934.1 He died on 19 August 2006 at age 96 at Brockhampton Court, Herefordshire, England.3
