Granville Richard Chetwynd Stapylton was born on 30 August 1909 at Gosforth, Northumberland, England.1,2 He was the son of Major Granville Joseph Chetwynd-Stapylton and Elizabeth Grace Lethbridge.3 He married Emma Young, daughter of Colonel William Arthur Young, on 8 September 1934.1 He died on 19 August 2006 at age 96 at Brockhampton Court, Herefordshire, England.4
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He lived Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Somerset Light Infantry.1 He lived in 2003 at 1a Shelton Fields, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.1

     Emma Young was the daughter of Colonel William Arthur Young.2 She married Lt.-Col. Granville Richard Chetwynd Stapylton, son of Major Granville Joseph Chetwynd-Stapylton and Elizabeth Grace Lethbridge, on 8 September 1934.1 She died on 9 March 2008.3
      Her married name became Chetwynd Stapylton.

     He was given the name of George at birth.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was chairman of Northern Radio Associates in 1973.1

Christopher George Chetwynd-Stapylton, son of Major Granville Joseph Chetwynd-Stapylton and Elizabeth Grace Lethbridge, on 28 June 1952.1 She died on 23 August 2002.1
      From before 1952, her married name became Wilson.1 Her married name became Chetwynd-Stapylton.
