     Amy Pargiter was the daughter of Robert Pargiter and Anne Knight.1 She married Lawrence Washington, son of John Washington and Margaret Kytson.1 She died on 6 October 1564.1
     Her married name became Washington.1

     Robert de Washington was the son of Robert de Washington and Joan de Strickland.1 He married Agnes de Gentyl.1 He died between 1346 and 1348.1

     Robert de Washington was the son of Sir William de Washington and Margaret de Morville.1 He married, firstly, Amice (?).2 He married Joan de Strickland, daughter of Sir William de Strickland and Elizabeth Deincourt, in 1292.2 He died in 1324.1
     Robert de Washington held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westmorland in 1300.2
