     Robert de Washington was the son of Sir William de Washington and Margaret de Morville.1 He married, firstly, Amice (?)2 He married Joan de Strickland, daughter of Sir William de Strickland and Elizabeth Deincourt, in 1292.2 He died in 1324.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westmorland in 1300.2
