     Dorothy Wroughton was the daughter of Sir Thomas Wroughton.2 She married, secondly, Sir George Shirley, 1st Bt., son of John Shirley and Jane Lovett.1 She married, firstly, Sir Henry Upton.1 She died on 29 December 1595.1
     Her married name became Upton.1 Her married name became Shirley.

     Lawrence Washington is the son of Lawrence Washington and Amy Pargiter.1 He married Martha Newce, daughter of Clement Newce, on 31 January 1578.1
     He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1567 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1582 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Bencher of Gray's Inn in 1599.1 He held the office of Registrar of the High Court of Chancery.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone between 1604 and 1611.1
