Hon. Mary Howard was the daughter of Thomas Howard, 7th Baron Howard of Effingham and Mary Wentworth.1 She married George Venables-Vernon, 1st Baron Vernon, son of Henry Vernon and Anne Pigot, on 21 June 1733. She died in February 1740.

Mary Wentworth was the daughter of Ruishe Wentworth.1 She married Thomas Howard, 7th Baron Howard of Effingham, son of Francis Howard, 6th Baron Howard of Effingham and Philadelphia Pelham, on 25 February 1706/7.1 She died on 29 May 1718.1

Edward Beresford was born on 11 September 1863. He was the son of George De la Poer Beresford and Mary Annabella Harcourt. He married, firstly, Emily Constance Frederica Milner, daughter of Henry Beilby William Milner and Charlotte Henrietta Beresford, in 1886. He married, secondly, Florence Lillian Moreton, daughter of Captain Hon. Reynolds Reynolds-Moreton and Margaret Mahony, on 30 April 1903.1 He died on 8 June 1939 at age 75.1
