     Richard Fitzherbert was born on 3 August 1775.4 He is the son of John Ruxton and Margaret Edgeworth.2,3 He married Elizabeth Selina Staples, daughter of Sir Robert Staples, 7th Bt. and Hon. Jane Vesey, on 10 January 1807.1
     County Meath.4 He lived Black Castle.4 Which surname he assumed in lieu of his patronymic.4
