     Sydney Philip Charles Vesey was born on 9 March 1873.1 He was the son of William Muschamp Vesey and Anne Henrietta Newton.1 He married Blanche Edith Power, daughter of Edmund Nicholas Power, on 24 April 1902.1 He died on 29 October 1932 at age 59.1
     Sydney Philip Charles Vesey graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the service of the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.1
