     Helen Beatrice Newman was born circa 1868.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Holdsworth Newman and Elizabeth Laura Smith.² She married William Vere Reeve King-Fane, son of William Dashwood Fane and Susan Millicent Reeve, on 16 May 1895.¹ She died on 8 March 1962.¹
     From 16 May 1895, her married name became Fane. From September 1920, her married name became King-Fane.¹
