     Calmady Pollexfen Hamlyn was born on 18 January 1775.1 He was the son of Christopher Hamlyn and Elizabeth Mary Calmady.2 He married Fanny Bedford Cross, daughter of Richard Cross, on 27 June 1805.1 He died in July 1846 at age 71.1
     Calmady Pollexfen Hamlyn held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon.1 He lived at Leawood, Devon, England.1 At Paschoe, Bow, Devon, England, (an unknown value).1 He also had two daughters.1

     Shilston Calmady Hamlyn was born on 7 November 1811.1 He was the son of Calmady Pollexfen Hamlyn and Fanny Bedford Cross.2 He married, firstly, Sarah Carter, daughter of Richard Carter, on 25 March 1841.1 He married, secondly, Mary Hensley, daughter of Commander Charles Hensley, on 28 April 1859.1 He died on 7 October 1885 at age 73.1
