     Jane Anne Vere-Broke was the daughter of Captain Charles Acton Vere-Broke.2 She married James St. Vincent Saumarez, 4th Baron Saumrez, son of Colonel John St. Vincent Saumarez, 3rd Baron de Saumarez and Caroline Esther Rhodes, on 10 October 1882.1 She died on 17 January 1933.1
     As a result of her marriage, Jane Anne Vere-Broke was styled as Baroness de Saumarez on 10 October 1882. From 10 October 1882, her married name became Saumarez. She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1
