     Jean Halyburton was the daughter of Patrick Halyburton.2 She married, firstly, John Olipher before 1701.1 She married, secondly, James Dewar, 1st of Vogrie, son of James Dewar of Carrington and Heriot and unknown wife (?), on 13 February 1701.1 She died on 1 March 1708.1
     From before 1701, her married name became Olipher.1 From 13 February 1701, her married name became Dewar.

     James Dewar, 2nd of Vogrie was born on 22 December 1701.1 He was the son of James Dewar, 1st of Vogrie and Jean Halyburton.2 He married Katharine McGeorge, daughter of Reverend William McGeorge, on 17 November 1723.1 He died in September 1760 at age 58.1
     James Dewar, 2nd of Vogrie was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 24 March 1760.1

     James Dewar, 3rd of Vogrie was born in October 1727.1 He was the son of James Dewar, 2nd of Vogrie and Katharine McGeorge.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth McCullough, daughter of John McCullough, on 24 December 1769.1 He married, secondly, Mary Cutler, daughter of John Cutler, on 24 April 1779.1 He died on 15 October 1788.1
     James Dewar, 3rd of Vogrie was admitted to Advocate in 1756.1 He was a founder member of the New Club Edinburgh, which bought his Edinburgh house.1

     James Dewar, 4th of Vogrie was born on 13 October 1770.1 He was the son of James Dewar, 3rd of Vogrie and Elizabeth McCullough.2 He married Caroline Cumming, daughter of Colonel Sir John Cumming, on 19 April 1792.1 He died on 29 April 1826 at age 55.1
     James Dewar, 4th of Vogrie gained the rank of in the service of the 42nd Highlanders.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Midlothian.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Midlothian.1 He was commander of the 1st Regiment, Midlothian Fencibles.1
