Sir George Baker, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 June 1816 at Paris, France.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Francis Baker, 2nd Bt. and Harriet Simeon.1 He married, firstly, Mary Isabella Sutton, daughter of Robert Nassau Sutton and Mary Georgiana Manners-Sutton, on 2 June 1840 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1 He married, secondly, Augusta Catherine Fitzwygram, daughter of Sir Robert Fitzwygram, 2nd Bt. and Selina Hayes, on 16 November 1858 at St. John's, Paddington, London, England.1 He died on 27 August 1882 at age 66 at Woodhouse, Devon, England.1
Sir George Baker, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Baker, of Loventor in Totnes, Devon [G.B., 1776] on 1 October 1830.1 He matriculated at Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 14 May 1834.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 7 March 1836.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1837 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1
