     Reginald Robert Slade was born on 24 October 1868.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Hicks Slade and Cecilia Louisa Des Voeux.² He married Lilian Florence Reynolds, daughter of Samuel J. Reynolds, on 4 September 1924.¹ He died on 5 February 1946 at age 77, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 3rd Reserve Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 4th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Frederick Rupert Slade was born on 5 May 1870.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Hicks Slade and Cecilia Louisa Des Voeux.² He married Hilda Marion Morell Mackenzie, daughter of Sir Morell Mackenzie, on 14 February 1900.¹ He died on 14 April 1915 at age 44.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 4th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters.¹

     Hilda Marion Morell Mackenzie is the daughter of Sir Morell Mackenzie.² She married Frederick Rupert Slade, son of Lt.-Col. William Hicks Slade and Cecilia Louisa Des Voeux, on 14 February 1900.¹
      From 14 February 1900, her married name became Slade.

     Alice Mary Slade was born circa 1866.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Hicks Slade and Cecilia Louisa Des Voeux.³ She died, unmarried.¹

     Reverend George FitzClarence Slade was born on 13 September 1831.¹ He was the son of General Sir John Slade, 1st Bt. and Matilda Ellen Dawson.² He married Eleanor Frances Warre, daughter of Henry Warre, on 16 June 1858.¹ He died on 23 December 1904 at age 73.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He held the office of Rural Dean of Reigate.¹ He was the Rector at Buckland, Surrey, England.¹ He was the Vicar at Alberbury, Shropshire, England.³
