     Robert Abercromby Forbes-Sempill was born on 21 March 1870.1 He was the son of Sir William Forbes-Sempill, 17th Lord Sempill and Frances Emily Abercromby.2 He died on 2 June 1915 at age 45, from wounds received in action.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 5th Battalion, Gordon Highlanders.1 He fought in the Battle of the Somme.1

     She was Segeant in the FANY/ATS during the Second World War.1 From 9 September 1958, her married name became Forbes-Walker. She lived in 2003 at The Post House, Midlem, Selkirkshire, Scotland.1

     He was given the name of Norman Walker at birth.1
