Sarah Elizabeth Palliser was the daughter of Wray Bury Palliser and Anne Gledstones.2 She married George Stephens Gough, 2nd Viscount Gough of Goojerat, son of Field Marshal Hugh Gough, 1st Viscount Gough of Goojerat and Frances Maria Stephens, on 17 October 1840.1 She died in August 1841, without issue.1
