     Bettyne Ione Everard is the daughter of Sir William Lindsay Everard and Cornelia Ione Kathleen Beresford-Armstrong.1,3 She married, firstly, Denis Anthony Brian Butler, 9th Earl of Lanesborough, son of Henry Cavendish Butler, 8th Earl of Lanesborough and Grace Lilian Abdy, on 20 December 1939.1 She and Denis Anthony Brian Butler, 9th Earl of Lanesborough were divorced in 1950.1 She married, secondly, Richard Peter Michael Spencer.3
     Her married name became Spencer.3 Her married name became Butler.

     Captain John Vansittart Danvers Butler, 6th Earl of Lanesborough was born on 18 April 1839.1 He was the son of Hon. Charles Augustus Butler-Danvers and Letitia Rudyard Ross Freese.2 He married Anne Elizabeth Clark, daughter of Reverend John Dixon Clark and Annie Fenwick, on 21 June 1864.1 He died on 12 September 1905 at age 66.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Lanesborough [I., 1756] on 7 July 1866.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Lanesborough [I., 1728] on 7 July 1866.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Newtown Butler [I., 1715] on 7 July 1866.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Cavan between 1876 and 1900.1 He was appointed Representative Peer [Ireland].1

     Anne Elizabeth Clark was born in 1845 at Belford, Northumberland, England.2 She was the daughter of Reverend John Dixon Clark and Annie Fenwick.1,2 She married Captain John Vansittart Danvers Butler, 6th Earl of Lanesborough, son of Hon. Charles Augustus Butler-Danvers and Letitia Rudyard Ross Freese, on 21 June 1864.1 She died on 10 September 1909.1
     Her married name became Butler. After her marriage, Anne Elizabeth Clark was styled as Countess of Lanesborough on 7 July 1866.
