Sir Thomas Hay of Park, 3rd Bt. was born in 1730.1 He was the son of Thomas Hay and Mary Maxwell.1 He married Jean Blair, daughter of John Blair of Dunskey, on 9 December 1747 at Portpatrick, Wigtownshire, Scotland.1,2 He died in 1778.1
He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Hay, of Park [N.S., 1663] in 1733.1 He fought in the Battle of Prestonpans on 21 September 1745, and was wounded defending Colonel Gardiner.1
