     Sir Robert Lauder of Poppill was the son of Robert Lauder of the Bass and Margaret Sinclair.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir Robert Lauder of Poppill and Margaret Hay was signed on 11 February 1566/67.1 He died in April 1575.3
