     Sir Thomas Kerr was the son of Sir John Kerr and Catherine Kerr. He married, firstly, Janet Kirkaldy, daughter of Sir William Kirkaldy, between 10 February 1561 and 1562. He married, secondly, Janet Scott, daughter of Sir William Scott of Kirkurd and Buccleuch, younger, circa 1569.1
     Sir Thomas Kerr lived at Ferniehirst, Midlothian, Scotland.1

     Janet Kirkaldy was born before 1545. She was the daughter of Sir William Kirkaldy. She married Sir Thomas Kerr, son of Sir John Kerr and Catherine Kerr, between 10 February 1561 and 1562.
     Her married name became Kerr.

     Sir Andrew Kerr was the son of Thomas Kerr and Margaret Ker. He married Janet Home, daughter of Sir Patrick Home, after 6 November 1501. He died after 4 October 1545.
     Sir Andrew Kerr held the office of Warden of the Middle Marches. He held the office of Baillie of Jedburgh. He lived at Ferniehirst, Midlothian, Scotland.1
