     Luigi I, Duca di Savoia was born on 24 February 1402. He was the son of Amadeo VIII, Ducha di Savoia.1 He married Anne de Lusignan, daughter of Janus de Lusignan, King of Cyprus, in 1434. He died on 29 January 1465 at age 62.
     Luigi I, Duca di Savoia succeeded to the title of Duca di Savoia in 1440.1
