     He was given the name of Hender Molesworth at birth.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 On 14 March 1844 his name was legally changed to Hender Molesworth-St. Aubyn by Royal Licence.1
