     Georgiana Maria Elliot was the daughter of Admiral Sir George Elliot and Eliza Cecilia Ness. She married William Hopetoun Carnegie, 8th Earl of Northesk, son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts, on 14 February 1843. She died on 23 February 1874.
     Her married name became Carnegie.

     Lt.-Col. George John Carnegie, 9th Earl of Northesk was born on 1 December 1843. He was the son of William Hopetoun Carnegie, 8th Earl of Northesk and Georgiana Maria Elliot. He married Elizabeth Georgina Frances Elliot, daughter of Admiral Sir George Elliot and Hersey Susan Sydney Wauchope, on 28 February 1865 at St. Mary's, Portsea, Hampshire, England.1 He died on 9 September 1891 at age 47.
     Lt.-Col. George John Carnegie, 9th Earl of Northesk succeeded to the title of 9th Earl of Northesk.

     Nina Helen Elliot was baptised on 18 December 1847 at Wilton, Roxburghshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of Admiral Sir George Elliot and Hersey Susan Sydney Wauchope. She married Sir Thomas Dacres Butler, son of Colonel Thomas Butler and Arabella Dacres, on 12 July 1877. She died on 7 March 1947 at age 99.
     Her married name became Butler.

     Sir Thomas Dacres Butler was born on 3 October 1845 at Hambeldon, Hampshire, England.2 He was the son of Colonel Thomas Butler and Arabella Dacres.2 He married Nina Helen Elliot, daughter of Admiral Sir George Elliot and Hersey Susan Sydney Wauchope, on 12 July 1877. He died on 29 December 1937 at age 92.
     Sir Thomas Dacres Butler was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.).1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1873 in the service of the 52nd Light Infantry.2 He held the office of Usher of the Black Rod, House of Lords between 1892 and 1929.2 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.).2
