     Harold Lionel Isidore Spielmann was born in 1893 at Paddington, London, England.1 He was the son of Sir Isidore Spielmann and Emily Sebag-Montefiore.2 He died on 13 August 1915 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 10th Battalion, Manchester Regiment.2 He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign in 1915.2
