     Hon. Harriet Louisa Crofton was the daughter of Sir Edward Crofton, 2nd Bt. and Anne Croker, Baroness Crofton of Mote.2 She married General Sir Peregrine Maitland, son of Thomas Maitland and Eliza Mathew, in 1803.1 She died in 1805.1
      Hon. Harriet Louisa Crofton usually went by her middle name of Louisa.1 From 1803, her married name became Maitland.
