     Alexandra Sarah Cardew is the daughter of Arthur Hugh Alexander Cardew. She married Michael Cotterell Geoffrey David Mordaunt-Smith, son of Cotterell Boughton Mordaunt-Smith and Hon. Kathleen Marcia Browne, in 1972.1
     From 1972, her married name became Mordaunt-Smith. She lived in 2003 at Wixoe Mill House, Wixoe, Halstead, Essex.1

     Archibald Napier, 3rd Lord Napier of Merchistoun was the son of Archibald Napier, 2nd Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Lady Elizabeth Erskine.2 He died before 7 August 1683, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Napier of Merchistoun [S., 1627] on 4 September 1658.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Napier, of Merchistoun [N.S., 1627] on 4 September 1658.1 He resigned as Lord Napier of Merchistoun on 20 November 1676.1 On 7 February 1677 he received a regrant (repeated on 17 Feb 1677) of his lordship, with special remainder to his eldest sister and the heirs male of her body, failing whom to the eldest heir female of her body, failing whom to his other sisters by primogeniture, failing whom to the heirs male of Archibald, Lord Napier.1 On his death, his baronetcy became dormant until 1817.1
