     Rt. Hon. Sir James William Colvile was born on 12 January 1810.1 He was the son of Andrew Colvile and Hon. Mary Louisa Eden.2 He married Frances Elinor Grant, daughter of Sir John Peter Grant, 11th of Rothiemurchus and Henrietta Isabella Phillipa Chichele Plowden, on 13 April 1857.1 He died on 6 December 1880 at age 70 at London, England.1
